Whether you need labs depends on your treatment. While lab testing is recommended by the clinical team regardless of the product ordered, the following products have lab requirements.
For GLP-1s (tirzepatide or semaglutide):
A lab panel is required 60–90 days after you start and annually after that, so your clinician can see how your body is responding and adjust your dose as needed. The GLP-1 panel is available at a low cost through us and drawn at a lab center near you. Prefer your own provider? You can complete it independently and upload your results to the portal. The panel checks CBC, CMP, TSH, Free T3, Free T4, Vitamin B12, and Hemoglobin A1c.
For testosterone therapy (TRT, enclomiphene, or hCG):
Testosterone therapy is only prescribed to patients with documented low testosterone or specific hormonal symptoms confirmed by lab work.
To Start: You'll need recent blood work (within the last 12 months). We recommend completing the lab work PRIOR to ordering testosterone. If you don't have recent labs, you can order our TRT Initial Panel for a low cost or complete it independently and upload your results.
The lab test must be drawn between drawn between 7am and 10am and include: CMP, CBC, TSH, Free T4, Testosterone (free and total), Estradiol, LH and FSH, SHBG, DHEA, Sulfate, PSA (free and total), Cortisol serum AM, Prolactin, Ferritin.
To Continue After 90 Days: To monitor your response and ensure your testosterone stays within the appropriate range, you will need to complete a lab test within the first 90 days of using testosterone therapy. You can order our TRT Maintenance Panel or complete it independently. The lab test must include the following biomarkers: CMP, CBC, Testosterone (total + free), Estradiol, LH and FSH, SHBG, PSA (free and total)
Annually: After the 90-day check in, the TRT Maintenance Panel will be required annually.
You can complete these through the catalog at a discounted rate, or submit results from an outside lab. If you're not sure which panel applies to you, ask your clinician.
