Yes — an HSA or FSA card can be used at checkout.
A note on eligibility: HSA and FSA card acceptance is determined by your card issuer, not by us. Rules vary by issuer and plan, and some issuers apply extra scrutiny to telehealth purchases, which can occasionally cause a card to be declined at checkout even when the underlying purchase would qualify.
If your card is declined at checkout, you have two options:
Pay with a regular credit or debit card, then submit the receipt to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement. We provide itemized receipts or LMNs on request.
Contact your HSA/FSA administrator to ask why the card was declined — some issuers can approve specific purchase categories on request.
Medications and lab work are generally eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement, but eligibility ultimately depends on your plan and IRS rules. We recommend checking with your plan administrator or tax advisor if you have questions about specific products.
