What happens if I cancel my membership?

How cancellation affects your portal access, your client relationships, and medical records.

Your portal. Your access continues through the end of your current billing period, then your portal closes and you can no longer log in. Altro doesn't refund a partial period, so you keep full access until the period you've paid for ends.

Your client relationships are yours. The clients you bring to Altro are your clients, and they stay yours. If you cancel, you keep your relationship with them. They can no longer place new orders through Altro, though anyone mid-treatment can finish an order that's already been prescribed for a limited window after cancellation (generally 90 days, or longer if medically necessary), so no one is cut off abruptly. Within that window, a client can also choose to continue care with a provider outside of Altro, or wind down, with any tapering handled by the clinician where appropriate.

Medical records. Records such as labs, prescriptions, and provider notes belong to the licensed medical group that provides care and are governed by HIPAA. Clients can request their own records at any time to support a handoff elsewhere. As a non-clinical partner, you wouldn't export these records yourself; that's a client-initiated process under HIPAA.

Your own records. Any coaching notes or records you've created in your own system stay with you.
