How do I track my marketing, and how should I set up where I send traffic?

How partners typically connect their storefront to their marketing, and where Meta pixel tracking fits in.

Before tracking, it helps to decide where you're sending traffic, to your own website or directly to your Altro storefront. Partners typically take one of three approaches:

  • Share your storefront link directly. The simplest option, send clients your storefront link so they can get started right away with no technical setup.

  • Link to your storefront from your own website. Add a section to your site (for example, a "products" page) that explains your offerings and links out to your full storefront.

  • Build a custom storefront experience. Create your own pages that link to each individual product, so you can control the full experience (quiz, landing pages, and so on) while Altro handles the final product page and checkout. This gives you the most control and lets you optimize traffic toward specific product pages.

On tracking: on the Pro plan, you can connect your own Meta pixel to your storefront to measure and optimize ad campaigns. You can find the setup steps in the Meta pixel FAQ. Keep in mind that if you're running paid ads that promote medications, advertising platforms have their own requirements (including LegitScript certification in some cases), so it's worth reviewing those rules before you launch.

One thing we've seen work well: many of the most successful partners drive their campaigns toward a coaching program first, rather than optimizing purely for medication sales. It tends to differentiate you more strongly, and it gives you more control over your landing pages and the overall experience.
