How does treatment work?

Walks through the full treatment timeline, from placing your order and completing intake through clinician review, fulfillment, shipping, lab work, and recurring renewals.

Here's what to expect, step by step, from the day you order to your ongoing care after that.

Getting started with your prescription order:

  • Today: Place your order through the catalog and complete your medical intake forms, which include a health history and goals questionnaire.

    • Note: completing the medical intake is a crucial step. A clinician cannot prescribe without it, so make sure to complete it to keep your order moving frorward.

  • Days 1-2: A licensed clinician reviews your intake and, when appropriate, issues a prescription. Depending on your medical history and state requirements, your clinician may schedule a brief video visit with you before moving forward. You will be contacted if this is the case.

    • Make sure to keep an eye on your messages in the portal. It's how the clinical team will contact you if they have any questions!

  • Days 3-5: A licensed pharmacy gets to work preparing your order.

  • Days 5-7: Your order ships to your door, with 2-day shipping once it leaves the pharmacy.

Once you're up and running, here's what ongoing care looks like:

  • Renewals. Your order renews automatically every 4 weeks, so you don't have to think about reordering. Payment is processed, then a clinician reviews and approves your refill, and your product ships straight to you.

  • Dosage personalization. Want your dose fine-tuned over time? Complete the optional monthly check-in questionnaire so your clinician can personalize things as you go. This is the best way to give your clinician the information they need so they can adjust your dosage.

  • Lab work. For some products, such as GLP-1s and testosterone therapy, lab work may be required. You can learn about this by clicking on the relevant product on the catalog, and viewing the lab testing requirements. Lab work can be completed through us, or you can upload your results to the portal.
